Floyd works a little differently from most bars, and that sometimes raises questions. Below you'll find the most frequently asked ones.
At the weekend the kitchen closes at 22:00. At that point the door locks and we work with an access code. The code appears every weekend evening at 22:00 on our Instagram @floydbyff and on the homepage of this website.
Just follow us on Instagram and you'll never miss that evening's code.
The system is intentional. Floyd wants to be a place where everyone feels safe and at ease — a genuine safe space in the city centre. By restricting access to those who have the code (and therefore follow our Instagram or visit the website), we protect the atmosphere and the quality of the evening.
It's not a selective door policy in the traditional sense, but a filter for good intentions.
No, only at the weekend (Friday and Saturday) after 22:00. Thursday through Monday you can walk in or make a reservation until 22:00. The code applies exclusively to the later night portion of the weekend.
Yes. Reservations are optional and available for the 18:00 to 20:00 slot. To avoid double sittings, we only accept reservations during that first hour.

Floyd by Funky Food is located at Stationsstraat 9a, 8500 Kortrijk, close to the city centre and easily accessible by car and public transport.
Not at all. You're just as welcome for a glass of wine, a cocktail or a beer. Tapas are there for those who want them, not an obligation.
Our kitchen is open until 22:00. After that you can still enjoy drinks: wines, cocktails, whiskeys and more. Tapas stop at 22:00.

Yes. Our menu includes several vegetarian tapas, such as the goat's cheese and sun-dried tomato croquette, the cheese board and the aged goat's cheese from the oven. You'll find the full menu on the menu page.
Floyd is built on the foundations of 25 years of Funky Food, but follows a completely different formula. Where Funky Food is a classic restaurant, Floyd is an evening concept: wine, tapas and dancing in one atmospheric space.
Absolutely. Floyd is perfectly suited for private events: birthdays, corporate events, stag or hen nights and more. Thanks to our code system, the venue is completely exclusive to your group.

Yes. Floyd has professional DJ equipment. You can bring your own DJ or we can arrange one for you. The setup is compatible with most standard DJ configurations.
